

To be sure, a lot of the problems Victoria 2 has - the godawful UI, the incredibly annoying diplomacy system that needs to be either cheesed or ignored, the way warfare in general is such a goddamn pain in the ass - are sure to be fixed in Vicky 3. And I'm not sure all its problems can be fixed with a new game, even rebuilding it from the ground up.

That's not because I find it too complex to grapple with - indeed, it's because I find it an extremely shallow a gaming experience once you've waded past the surface complexity.
